SMART board

The SMART board is the new blackboard! Technology is such a huge part of our everyday life now and we need to incorporate this into our teaching and learning. The SMART board allows teachers and students to access and display websites, run educational software, highlight and review notes from a class discussion, deliver Power Point presentations and much more. This board is touch sensitive and interactive. It provides the ability to show and do rather than just tell. Students are motivated to learn with this new technology. Ms. Chockley and Ms. Hostetler will be using the SMART board in their High Needs Program and feel it will be a valuable teaching tool.
